Time of the Day has a definitive influence on the amount of Saliva we secrete
By taking advantage of the information on circadian rhythm, one can, to a limited extent beat the symptoms of Dry Mouth.
The word 'circadian' is derived from the Latin word circa, meaning "around" (or "approximately"), while 'diēs' stands for "day". The formal study of biological temporal rhythms, such as daily, weekly, seasonal, and annual rhythms, is called chronobiology.
Although circadian rhythms are 'self-sustained' or 'built-in', they are adjusted to the local environment by external cues called zeitgebers (from German, "time giver"), which include light, temperature and redox cycles. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Circadian_rhythm)
